Frankie Grande looks unrecognizable in a shocking new selfie.

The Big Brother alum posted a photo of his face after a recent plastic surgery procedure. In anĀ Instagram selfie shared over the weekend, 41-year-old Frankie is completely bruised and bandaged across his face, sporting two black eyes and an ear guard.

“New nose. Who dis? šŸ‘ƒšŸ¼,” he captioned his post, tagging New York-based facial plastic surgeon Dr. Thomas Romeo III.

Although it looks like Frankie was beat up, he actually just went under the knife, likely undergoing a rhinoplasty to alter the appearance of his nose.

Even still, the photo did initially worry many of Frankie’s followers.

“Frankie I was worried you got into a fight for a few seconds šŸ˜ feel better!” commented Big Brother alum Joseph Abdin. Big Brother winner Taylor Hale added, “You just had me worried omg.”

Also commenting on his looks was Big Brother alum Britney Haynes, writing, “You look great sweetie,” and Big Brother alum Derek Frazier, penning, “PERFECTION šŸ˜.”

On Monday, the performerĀ posted a series of selfies from his trip to New York City. This time, he wore a full face of makeup in most photos to conceal any bruising. But, his new nose was still taped up.Ā

“Took my new nose out to see New York. She loved The Wiz,” he wrote.

He also took to his Instagram Story to offer a video update on the healing process.Ā

“Today I got the cast off my nose and it just like blew up like a balloon, which apparently is supposed to happen,” he shared. “But it freaked me out a teeny bit. But still very excited.”Ā

Frankie also teased that “the big reveal” of his new look will be coming on TikTok after the latest round of swelling subsides.Ā

Frankie, who has previously shared that he battled an addiction with alcohol and pills, has been candid about his journey to self-love. In December 2019, he spoke to ET about having good mental health practices.

“Every day I wake up. I pray, I meditate,” he shared at the time. “I have a core group of people and friends that I send gratitude lists every single morning, just to start myself off the day in a place of love and gratitude and to remind myself that my primary purpose on this planet is to just be loving, to make other people smile and to go through the whole day in a place of giving.”

Frankie, who is now married to Hale Leon, continued by expressing how his family are the people he turns to when he needs help.

“They were the ones who really just put me on the road of recovery — like literally, like physically,” he detailed. “They were like, ‘This is where you’re going.’ And I did. And then I think we’ve all grown together. I think as my journey of self-love has begun, it is also reflected in my sister, reflected in mother, reflected in my grandmother. I feel like we all just kind of started growing up all together because we had to.”

“When any dynamic, any relationship, when one person changes, the other person has to change,” he continued. “It’s not like anything can stay the same once somebody makes such a drastic shift to become sober. I think we all grew together. And we all help each other, all the time.”
