Leadership & LEAP Programs: Registrations for 2025 now open – WBCSD

Geneva, 5 September 2024 – The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is excited to announce the opening of registrations for the 2025 editions of its highly regarded educational initiatives: the Leadership Program 2025 and the LEAP Program 2025. These programs, developed in collaboration with esteemed academic institutions and leading member companies, are designed to equip participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to drive sustainable transformations within their organizations. 

Leadership Program 2025 

Now in its 24th year, the WBCSD Leadership Program continues to evolve in response to the rapidly changing sustainability landscape. The 2025 edition, offered in partnership with Yale School of Management, Yale School of the Environment, and IMD, is aimed at current and aspiring leaders who wish to deepen their understanding of sustainability challenges and opportunities. The program offers a dynamic blend of traditional classroom learning, experiential activities, and hands-on projects, enabling participants to integrate sustainability into their strategic decision-making processes effectively. 

Participants will gain access to world-class academics, seasoned business leaders, and sustainability experts. The program includes online training in sustainable development within the business context and one-to-one professional coaching to enhance leadership capabilities. Upon successful completion, participants will receive academic certifications from Yale and IMD.

LEAP Program 2025 

The LEAP Program, dedicated to empowering women executives, returns for the 2025 cycle with a renewed focus on bridging the gender gap in sustainability leadership. Developed in collaboration with ESADE Business School, Yale School of Management, and the National University of Singapore, this program offers a comprehensive approach to integrating sustainability into leadership roles. 

The LEAP Program includes a robust combination of in-person modules across global locations, online learning, personalized coaching, and cross-mentorship with senior executives. This year’s curriculum will guide participants through the latest in sustainable business practices, equipping them to lead their organizations towards a net-zero, nature-positive, and equitable future. Participants will receive diplomas from Yale and ESADE upon completion.
