Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association joins WBCSD’s Global Network

Ulaanbaatar & Geneva, 6 May 2024: In a significant stride towards bolstering sustainable business practices, the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association (MSFA) has officially become the latest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s (WBCSD)’s Global Network. This partnership heralds a new chapter in Mongolia’s journey towards fostering green finance and aligning with global sustainability goals.

The MSFA, a member-serving non profit organization established in 2017, has rapidly emerged as a frontrunner in promoting sustainability and green business practices within Mongolia. With 47 members, including prominent players such as commercial banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms, MSFA’s commitment to sustainability has resonated widely across the Mongolian business landscape.

Nomindari Enkhtur, CEO of the MSFA, expressed enthusiasm about joining WBCSD’s Global Network, emphasizing the organization’s dedication to extending its green initiatives beyond the financial sector. Enkhtur highlighted MSFA’s focus on developing sustainability standards, advocating for policy reforms, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to advance sustainable development goals in Mongolia.
